Women’s History Month may be coming to a close, but we are forever thankful for the women on our team who help keep us flowing!
Get to know some of the amazing women from our small but mighty Aunt Flow team as they answer a few questions. 🧡
What motivated you to join the Aunt Flow team?
I unexpectedly needed a period product while at a local coffee shop. Thankfully, there were Aunt Flow products. I took an extra tampon and started following Aunt Flow on Instagram. I was blown away by the mission and knew I wanted to be a part of the menstrual movement. I applied for a job at Aunt Flow 2 years later.
Jenni Genson, Senior Account Manager
Aunt Flow is shouting from the rooftops what many women and people with periods have been taught is shameful – we have periods and deserve equal care! This company is pushing forward a necessary societal change – de-stigmatizing menstruation and ensuring people with periods are equally cared for in the bathroom.
Genevieve Jaser, Account Executive Team Manager
What do you love most about being a woman?
Being surrounded by smart, strong women who show me how to navigate life with empathy, strength, and compassion.
Erin Gutstein, Senior Growth Marketing Associate
Women can do ANYTHING! Throughout history to the present day, we have proven time and time again that we can be sisters, mothers, wives, partners, and many other titles while still remaining strong and powerful.
Jen Lyttle, VP of Sales
Being a woman is so magical for so many reasons, but my favorite is knowing that we can do literally anything we put our minds to and more!
Molly Petri, Bid & Procurement Manager
What are you most proud of?
I have found that my natural inclination towards empathy, curiosity and being people-focused allows me to connect with many, learn from them, and break down some difficult topics with sensitivity and grit. As a woman, I have often felt that I approach topics and people with tenderness and warmth, which I appreciate in myself.
Genevieve Jaser, Account Executive Team Manager
What is your favorite part about working at Aunt Flow?
I love talking to people who no longer menstruate or who never have about why Aunt Flow is so important because it’s not an issue they themselves are faced with and therefore may not think of it. Offering free period products that are organic in public restrooms is the right thing to do!
Katie Bryant, Distributor Business Development Manager
Our mission was already ahead of its time when our CEO founded and launched Aunt Flow. Even today, I feel like Aunt Flow is always one step ahead of the mission, competition and paving the way for future legislative changes.
