Felician University’s Student Government Association is taking the next step in promoting gender equality on campus in its new partnership with the Aunt Flow Initiative.
In collaboration with Aunt Flow, Felician University will be providing students with free period products beginning in January 2023. As of January 10, Aunt Flow dispensers stocked with free organic cotton pads and tampons have been installed. Dispensers are available in restrooms on the Lodi and Rutherford Felician University campuses.
In response to calls from the student community for greater access to period products on campus, the university’s Student Government Association (SGA) decided to pursue a partnership with Aunt Flow.
Providing equal opportunity to a quality education for all students, regardless of gender, race or status, is a guiding principle of Felician University. The cost of period products forms a barrier to education for too many students across the nation. Felician affirms with the Aunt Flow initiative that combating period poverty is a crucial step in promoting gender equality.

By promoting equal access to menstrual products, Felician University is removing gender-based obstacles to education.
