Product Donation Requests — Closed for 2026

Aunt Flow's mission is to fight period poverty and stigma. Alongside ensuring that businesses and schools offer free period products for employees and students, our donation program supports activist-led initiatives and various grassroots nonprofit organizations.

We proudly support a wide range of organizations with donated period products and sponsorships, from large national entities to smaller grassroots initiatives. We seek to partner with organizations whose mission aligns with Aunt Flow's dedication to menstrual equity, gender inclusivity, and accessibility for diverse communities. 

To ensure our donations are impactful and aligned with our mission, we ask that you fill out an application to receive a donation.

In our review process, some of our top considerations include:

• Alignment with menstrual movement mission and values

• Diverse community impact and reach

• 501(c)(3) status

• Geographic focus

• Ability to cover shipping costs for donated product

• Transparency on how donations will be used

• Willingness to share photos or stories with our team after receiving the donation

While we would love to be able to support every organization or person who fills out an application to be an impact partner, unfortunately, we can only work with so many organizations at a time. We appreciate your understanding!

Due to an overwhelming number of applications, we regret that we cannot donate to every applicant at this time. However, we encourage you to reach out to a few of our signature impact partners, who may be able to support your valuable work. These partners include:

Aunt Flow believes in a multifaceted approach to achieving menstrual justice, including service, education, research, advocacy, and investment.

1. Organize menstrual product drives and fundraisers in your community to collect and donate pads and tampons to local shelters and food pantries. 
2. Lead educational workshops in your community about menstruation, sustainable menstrual products, and destigmatizing menstruation. 
3. Apply pressure to policymakers, decision-makers, and local leaders, advocating for policies that improve access to menstrual products and education.
4. Ask your school to include menstruation and menstrual health as part of the educational curriculum. In fact, 77% of students believe there needs to be more in-depth education about menstrual health.
5. Conduct and support more peer-reviewed research assessing the prevalence and health implications of period poverty. This data is important for supporting more grassroots advocacy efforts.
6. Urge schools and businesses to invest in high-quality menstrual products free of cost for everyone.

1. Eligibility Check:

   • Ensure your organization meets the basic eligibility requirements, such as alignment with Aunt Flow's mission of menstrual movement advocacy and being able to cover shipping costs (typically $30-$40 USD).

2. Application Submission:

   • Complete and submit the Aunt Flow impact partner application form, providing detailed information about your organization, mission, and the intended use of the donated products.

3. Application Review:

   • Aunt Flow’s team reviews the submitted applications, assessing each organization's alignment with our mission, impact potential, and overall need.

4. Waitlist Management:

   • Due to high demand, eligible organizations may be placed on a waitlist. Aunt Flow manages the waitlist based on product availability and organizational priority.

5. Approval and Notification:

   • Approved organizations are notified via email with details about the donation, including the timing for the products to be donated.

6. Shipping Arrangements:

   • Approved organizations are required to cover shipping costs for the donated products. Coordination for shipping will be managed between Aunt Flow and the recipient organization.

7. Distribution and Impact Reporting:

   • Once received, organizations distribute the products as outlined in their application. Aunt Flow may request that you complete our impact partner survey to share feedback, photos, and stories to be included in our annual impact report.

8. Ongoing Partnership:

   • Successful collaborations may lead to ongoing partnerships, with the potential for future donations and collaborative projects to further support menstrual equity.

Every donation recipient will receive 1,000 organic cotton menstrual pads. At this time, we can't offer donations for our period product dispensers or tampons.

At this time, most donations are allocated to organizations and individuals in the United States. We also work with a few select partners in the United Kingdom or Canada.

Yes, we do require all donation recipients to cover the cost of shipping. Typically, this is about 30-40 USD.
