About Aunt Flow:
At Aunt Flow, we’re on a mission to make period care more equitable, sustainable, and accessible in schools, offices, public spaces, and beyond. As a leading provider of high-quality period products and dispensers, we partner with businesses and institutions to champion menstrual equity and create a better bathroom experience for everyone.
About the Role:
As an Associate Account Manager at Aunt Flow, you will be the primary point of contact for small and growing accounts that make up an important part of our business. You’ll guide these customers through self-service enrollment, nurture the relationship over time, and serve as a trusted resource to help them build a successful period care program.
This is not a passive support role. You’ll proactively engage your accounts, anticipate their needs, identify opportunities for growth, and work cross-functionally to make sure every customer has what they need to succeed. This is a full-time position that reports to the Director of Account Management and offers a clear path toward growth within the account management or customer success track.
Core Responsibilities:
- Own a portfolio of small-mid-size business accounts as the primary point of contact, building trust-based relationships through proactive outreach, regular check-ins, and responsive communication.
- Monitor account health, identify at-risk customers, and take action to retain and re-engage while supporting upsell and expansion opportunities.
- Guide new customers through Aunt Flow's self-service ordering process, troubleshooting issues and coordinating internally to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Serve as a product expert, confidently answering customer questions and helping them optimize their period care programs with practical guidance and best practices.
- Educate customers on products, dispensers, and usage to maximize program value, while spotting growth opportunities and facilitating warm handoffs to senior account managers.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer interactions, enrollment data, and account details in HubSpot across your full book of business.
- Track engagement levels and account health metrics to proactively manage your portfolio and stay ahead of customer needs.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and customer success teams, surfacing customer feedback and insights to improve products, programs, and strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred — equivalent experience accepted.
- 1–2 years of experience in account management, customer success, customer service, or a similar client-facing role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships over time.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume portfolio of accounts simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred) and comfort working with tools like Slack, Google Suite, Shopify and email automation platforms.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset — you don’t wait for problems to come to you.
- High emotional intelligence and empathy; you understand that behind every account is a person with real goals and challenges.
- Coachable and self-aware — you welcome feedback and apply it quickly to improve your work.
- Results-driven and accountable — you set clear goals for yourself and follow through.
Interest in supporting a mission-driven, for-profit business expanding access to period care at scale.
bonus if you have:
- Experience in menstrual care, janitorial/facilities, health & wellness, or physical products.
- Prior experience at a startup or small business where you wore multiple hats.
- Familiarity with customer segmentation, tiered account structures, or self-service onboarding flows.

Hi! I’m Claire. I founded Aunt Flow after getting my period in public without the supplies needed.
At 18 years old, I dedicated my life to developing a solution to ensure businesses and schools could sustainably provide quality period products, for free, in bathrooms. Our products are made with organic cotton and we are constantly working to reduce our environmental impact! Since 2021, we've donated MILLIONS of period products to menstruators in need. I call this people helping people. PERIOD.®
