On September 24, HubSpot teamed up with Aunt Flow to host a Period Party benefiting Dignity Matters, a nonprofit dedicated to providing menstrual care and hygiene essentials to those in need in Massachusetts. The event brought together HubSpot employees and Dignity Matters volunteers to assemble period kits and raise awareness around menstrual equity.
Period poverty remains a serious issue: 1 in 4 teens in the U.S. have struggled to afford period products (State of the Period 2025). Because period care is needed every month and is not covered by WIC or SNAP, many people go without the products they need. At Aunt Flow, we partner with hundreds of nonprofits working to end period poverty—and events like this help make that mission possible.

The Event
The HubSpot Period Party brought employees together for a hands-on, impactful volunteer experience. Participants assembled period kits, learned about menstrual equity and helped support families in need across Massachusetts.
Over 60 HubSpot employees joined in to assemble 1,000 period kits (500 pad kits and 500 tampon kits), totaling 20,000 period products donated. Employees participated, sparking conversations about menstrual care and breaking down taboos.

Loved seeing some of my male colleagues encounter a tampon for the first time. Huge steps in combating menstrual taboo in the workplace. If you’re looking for an impactful in-person activity – 10/10 recommend.

Why It Matters: Empowering Employees, Supporting the Community
Corporate social responsibility initiatives like the HubSpot Period Party strengthen team culture while driving measurable social impact. When companies make menstrual equity part of their giving and engagement efforts, employees are empowered to learn, give, and make a difference—while communities gain access to critical period care.
The movement toward workplace menstrual equity is growing, and events like this showcase how partnerships between companies, nonprofits, and organizations like Aunt Flow can create meaningful change.
